Rod " I'm gung-ho for tort reform" Blagojevich

I recently found out that our legislature has X number of days to submit a bill to the governor, and then the governor has Y amount of days to sign it after that.

If Rod's plane is short on ginger ale or peanuts, we may not see this bill signed for a while.

Maybe he'll let it die? Hmmm. Suicide for re-election bid. Doubt it.

X = 30 days and Y = 60 days for the above. So, it may be the end of August before Rod signs this bill. Will he? Or will he veto it in August stating that some provision is just "not right and we need to work harder to find a better solution."

Have a great summer and if you're a plaintiff's attorney, get to work getting those lawsuits filed!

I may have other posts of a medical nature to talk about in the meantime.

"The first thing we do," said the character in Shakespeare's Henry VI, is "kill all the lawyers."

I just heard...Emil Jones Jr hasn't even delivered the bill to Rod yet.

So, Rod's got one month to sign it.

And the ITLA still hasn't stopped their relentless campaign.

What a crock.
